PEMILIHAN MODA MASYARAKAT KOTA BANDUNG ANTARA MOBIL PRIBADI DAN TRANSPORTASI DARING DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Transportation is one of the fundamental things that need to be regulated in an urban area like Bandung City. Bandung City has some transportation issues like a positive rate of private vehicle growth without any new road construction, indiscipline traveler behavior about traffic rules including illegal parking, and there are a lot of vehicles entering Bandung City from the outside region. Therefore, some congestions are happening in Bandung City because of private vehicles, particularly private cars which consume bigger road capacity. On the other hand, any public transportation alternatives in Bandung City are still bad and less preferable for citizens. Moreover, Bandung City also suffers from the Covid-19 Pandemic which affects citizen transportation behavior, because they are more cautious than before. Yet, there is another kind of public transportation which can serve better security for citizens and also more preferable for them, namely online transportation. Hence, this study is meant to know Bandung City mode choice between private car and online transportation, because online transportation is still public transportation, and is expected to give a solution to reduce private car usage. The Data collection method is questionnaires and has been shared for 100 Bandung City Citizens who use private cars frequently and had been using online transportation during the pandemic. This research uses a multinomial logit model to determine mode choice probability. Analysis shows some variables are affecting online taxi(car) like online taxi convenient, online taxi affordability, online motorcycle affordability, existence of taxi partition, and existence of taxi hand sanitizer with equation Utaxi= -0,051X1 + 0,028X2 – 0,067X3 + 1,704X4 + 1,134X5. Meanwhile, some variables affecting online motorcycles (ojek) are online motorcycle security, online taxi safety, online motorcycle safety, online motorcycle affordability, the existence of motorcycle partition, and the inexistence of motorcycle hair cap with equation Umotorcycle=- 0,021X1 – 0,025X2 + 0,021X3 – 0,031X4 + 1,198X5 – 1,177X6. The usage probability of online taxi, online motorcycle(ojek), and private car are 0,673%, 0,803%, dan 98,524%. The most sensitive variables by the model are online taxi convenience and online motorcycle(ojek) security. But, health protocol variables also show a significant sensitivity, that's why in this pandemic situation, transportation health protocols are important variables to reduce private car usage and increase public transportation usage.
