Summary:Mount Ciremai National Park is one of the national parks in West Java Province which functions as a life support system and has a hydrological function. National Parks are managed through a zoning system consisting of core zones, jungle zones, utilization zones, rehabilitation zones, special zones, religious, cultural and historical zones. Among them there are utilization zones that can be utilized for tourism utilization and utilization of water resources. Cisantana village is one of the villages in the Cigugur sub-district which part of the area is included in the utilization zone, but on the other hand the sub-district is also designated as a district tourism strategic area because it has many tourism objects, both those that have been developed and those that are still in the form of potential. The research data consisted of secondary data obtained from literature studies and primary data collected through observation of tourism objects located in Cisantana Village, questionnaires distributed into two groups, namely public perception questionnaires distributed offline with a total of 76 respondents and candidate preference questionnaires. tourists who were distributed online with a total of 150 respondents from inside and outside the Kuningan Regency, interviews were conducted with the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, Youth, Sports and Tourism Office, Gunung Ciremai National Park Office, and the head of Cisantana Village. The data obtained were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis to analyze the potential and limitations of tourism development, quantitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the results of the questionnaire regarding public perceptions and preferences of potential tourists to tourism development. The 4A analysis consists of attractions, amenities, accessibility, and ancillary to identify the characteristics of developing tourism development. SWOT analysis is used to formulate tourism development strategies based on community perceptions. The results of the study show that Cisantana Village, which is located in the TNGC utilization zone, states that the support of the surrounding community which is directly adjacent to the area is very important in tourism development in the TNGC utilization zone. Therefore, a development strategy that can be applied in Cisantana Village is the introduction of the concept of community-based nature tourism, developing the quality of human resources, involving local communities in the planning process, forming a forum for managers, making plans that consider disaster-prone areas, increasing partnerships between governments. and the community in developing tourist attractions, and increasing business competitiveness through the development of unique and creative tourism products.
