Slums are a city phenomenon that is difficult to avoid and become a problem that arises due to other city problems. Slums have a negative impact on their inhabitants. The government has determined the 10,000 hectares area of slum alleviation by 2024. Bandung, as the city with the largest slum area in West Java, is one of the targets for slum alleviation locations. This research aims to study the application of the vertical land consolidation concept in the slums rejuvenation in RW 5 and 11 Cibangkong Village. This study uses primary and secondary data collection methods with some approaches to data collection. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis, land consolidation calculation analysis, design analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, RW 5 and RW 11 have an inadequate residential environment in terms of irregular building arrangement, prone to flooding, lack of education and health facilities, lack of road infrastructure, and wastewater. and drainage. The residents of RW 5 and RW 11 have a density of 645 people per hectare, are classified as middle to lower income, have social problems of poverty and street children, and have respected figures such as village heads, RW & RT heads, social activists. Based on the results of the calculation of land consolidation, compensation for the local community consists of 1,450 low budget flats, compensation in the form of cash is Rp63,385,064,775.73 compensation in the form of equity worth Rp138.019,597,890.94. By adopting the concept of Water Sensitive Urban Design, the study location is designed by 47% land, other public facilities including shophouses 15%, road infrastructure allocation 12%, open and green land by 26%. The construction project is estimated to be fully completed in 3 and a half years and will cost Rp1.138.641.654.996.
