Sundanese Batik is inspired by the beauty of the flora and fauna of the Sunda land in its decorative variety. One of them is depicted in the ornament of merak ngibing, representing of the beauty and harmony in the land of Sunda. The characteristic of the merak ngibing or the dancing peacok ornament can be used as a potential in the introduction of Sundanese Batik in the international world by applying the dancing peacock decoration to hanfu costumes for the production of Chinese TV series and movies, which generally promote culture through films and TV series set in the ancient Chinese period by utilizing development of the entertainment industry. In the records of the Buddhist Kingdom, a monk named Fa Xian visited Yawadipa/Jawadwipa and Tolomo, currently known as the island of Java, and precisely visited Tarumanagara Kingdom. The application of the dancing peackok ornament in the collection of hanfu costumes which intended for Chinese films and TV series can be used as a way to introducing Sundanese Batik by applying dancing peacock ornament, a representative for the Sundanese batik decoration which represents the beauty and wealth of Sundanese land.
