Summary: | Digital media and the internet are now a basic necessity for some groups,
especially among children and adolescents as supporting academic needs, social
interaction and entertainment. The high of internet penetration rate is not
directly proportional to the level of understanding of digital literacy in
Indonesian society. The form of lack of digital literacy such as misinformation,
hoaxes, cyberbullying, plagiarism, discrimination, hate speech, hacking, game
addiction and pornography. The process of digital literacy education must begin
to be introduced from an early age with structured digital literacy education
procedures, both in the family environment and in the school environment.
Therefore, the design of interactive media in the form of an application book
was created with the aim of introducing the concept of Digital Citizenship with
attractive methods to children aged 8-10 years. Digital literacy and digital ethics
as elements of digital citizenship will be discussed approach through a gamebased learning that focuses on the development of digital literacy through
cultural, cognitive, and communicative aspects. The output is interactive media
that loaded with digital literacy, which can be used as a digital-based learning
support starting from the family environment |
