In Islam period, this was being used by Sunan Gunung Jati as religious endevour media, and the type of the performance view the phase of mens believe. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This special type of this performance is that dancer wears five character masks there are Panji, Pamindo, Rumyang, Patih and Klana, along with their equipments, such as costume, cloths, headdress wich called sobrah. Although as a visual matter looks simple, there are indeed, a lot of symbolical values that related to art growing period, that is major philosophy from two grand religion Hindu-Islam, and related with Mandala concept as primordial discourse of Indonesian society. <br /> <br /> text |
