Description
Summary:Stunting is a child growth problem characterized by the height of the child below his age. Indonesia has a fairly high number of stunting cases, namely 27% according to the 2019 Basic Health Research. This figure is still below the Asian average according to the World Health Organization. Stunting has a long-term impact, namely the child's posture is not optimal as an adult, increased risk of obesity and other diseases, decreased reproductive health, and productivity in the future. Specific nutrition interventions are government programs implemented to address the direct factors that cause stunting. However, the program was still carried out manually with an approach at each Puskesmas, which required considerable resources. Lack of parental awareness of nutrition and inadequate health facilities also hampers stunting management. The use of cell phones can be an alternative to improve human health and well-being, especially in relation to stunting with personal health management based on mobile applications. The purpose of the final project is the design and implementation of nutrition interventions for personal parenting and nutritional intake by implementing a mobile application that can plan children's eating according to nutritional needs, provide information related to child growth and development and early detection of stunting. This study is supported by several basic theories such as the calculation of children's nutritional needs and the conversion of energy contained in foodstuffs. Mobile application testing is done with an instrument App Quality Evaluation (Aqel) that is associated with the objective assessment of applications, functional applications, and the potential for 3 aspects: the expansion of knowledge, skill development and change old habits From the results of testing on 31 people with an age range of 18-35 years, the application purpose value is 9,435 out of 10 and the functional value of the application is 9,032 on a scale of 10. Which means that the application has clear objectives and good functions.. In addition the value of the three potential applications, application potential in providing knowledge has the highest value of 9.1 scale 10.
