This number will be get from well testing that commonly done during the early life of a reservoir. Skin factor will become an important aspect once the reservoir shown to not able to transport fluid to the wellbore, which will be happen if the reservoir has weak driving force from the start or because of the fluid depletion. To recover the reservoir, it’s a must for an intervention operation to alter fluid movement or rock characteristic, commonly known as well stimulation. Two operations in well stimulation, acidizing and hydraulic fracturing, reach the well stimulation objective thorugh different mechanism. However, nowadays evaluation of both work involve the same indicator; Productivity Index (PI). This indicator will not be that useful if we do the stimulation in oil-gas flow such as one happening in saturated solution gas-drive oil reservoir. The Author propose an evaluation method using skin factor before and after stimulation operation, predicted with Pudjo Sukarno IPR equation with data set from PLT operation as an alternative differs from well testing. The Author assume that the reservoir has already produced in a period of time, so that there is a well testing operation done at the start and the skin factor does not change. With two different flowing bottom hole pressure PLT operation, the Author determine reservoir pressure by trial-and-error. Before that, the Author testing sensitivities for the error used because of Pudjo Sukarno IPR need to use small error. Then, using same principle, skin factor could be get after stimulation operation with the reservoir pressure get from previous part. The result bind to the data logically. For recommendation, the method should be evaluate with the real field data, so that future development, such as making a skin factor evaluation type-curve, could be done. text
