Summary:ABSTRACT: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Water is the source of life and play an important part in supporting various human actifity. Expanding of it an hand in glove state of its ready bearing ably energy especially energy of electrical. To fulfill the requirement, human try to create the source of newest electrics energy gian technical and electrical. MHP as according to its name, reliing on its source to water power, base on the topography, climatology and geography in our state specially in research area which have big enough potency to be exploited as water power station. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The location of research represent one of the countryside exist in Enrekang regency-South Sulawesi province and one of the Sub-Watershed which reside in this area broadly covering area of 266 km2, Bungin Sub-Watershed representing a water resource potency to fulfill requirement of countryside electrics. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The omount of yearly is sufficient with range from 1057-2348 mm. The method which used to analyze the availibility of water is F.J Mock method, where this method is simulating the balance of monthly water at one particular certain catchment area to calculate total of run-off by using monthly rain, evapotranspiration, soil moisture of land and ground water supply. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Availibility of mean water per its year in Bungin Sub-Watershed equal to 4,70 m3 /sec, while amount of water required for the generating of only 325 lt / sec with electrics energy capacities 73 kW, it shows that are surplus of water in the basin. (surplus). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> MHP Tanete exploit debit equal to 325 lt/sec with highly fall effective 32,9 m. Water which come from Perak River conducted carrier channel as long as 425 m to head tank. The location of Micro Hydro Power (MHP) to the nearest network is countryside Tanete is 1000m. And distribution network as long as 5,5 km.
