Description
Summary:The coastline is used in determining regional sea boundaries and used as a reference for baseline to determining state maritime boundaries. The available shoreline information is mostly not updated. Thus coastline mapping is needed to get the latest coastline. Coastline mapping can use UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) technology, with advantages in terms of time, finance, and workmanship. This study aims to determine the coastline from aerial photo data with the influence of tidal data. Photo acquisition was carried out in the study area of Ujung Genteng Beach, with three acquisition sessions with momentary water levels: high water level, average water level, and low water level. Processing of aerial photo data forms orthophoto and DEM for each session. DEM data is processed into DTM which is then processed into coastal slope. Tidal data processing with TPXO9 tide model to determine fixed water level values: LAT, HAT, and MSL to obtain tidal correction. Determination of the coastline using the water and land boundary delineation method from the results of the digital classification of each orthophoto. The delineated coastline is corrected using tide corrections and coast slope. Validation of the corrected coastline using coastline in nautical map and topographic map. The result of this research is that the coastline is corrected with the influence of tidal data in the form of coastlines of LAT, HAT, MSL and chart datum lines. Validation of the coastline obtained a difference of up to 10-20 m, the difference meets the accuracy according to Regulatory Head of Geospatial Information Agency no. 15/2014 about Accuracy of Base Maps. The validation results prove that the shoreline results are included in the accuracy requirements. Thus, the coastline results can be used as a revision of the Ujung Genteng coastline on an existing map
