The sanitation assessment aims to provide an overview of the sanitation conditions in an area. The sanitation assessment includes the condition of sanitation infrastructure, public health, and the socio-economic conditions of the community. The problem with sanitation assessment is the ability of the instruments used in assessing sanitation to accurately describe sanitation conditions. The use of the index as a tool for assessing sanitation conditions is expected to accurately describe the sanitation conditions of indigenous peoples in the mountains. The calculation of the index value for the component is obtained from the sum of the index values for all the parameters involved which have been multiplied by the weight of the parameter concerned. Verification with a logical tree shows that the parameters used in previous studies can be used to describe the condition of sanitation, especially in the aspects of economy, socio-culture, environment, and natural resources. The assessment index includes water quality, water availability and pollution prevention, human resource development, clean water consumption, and sanitation. Implementation of this tool in the study area in Kasepuhan Ciptagelar will produce an assessment whose value is expected to be in accordance with the situation being observed. text |
