ADDING OPEN GREEN SPACE IN BOGOR: INTEGRATING STADIUM WITH OPEN GREEN SPACE AT BOGOR PAJAJARAN SPORTS COMPLEX

The rapid population growth in the city of Bogor causes the development of uncontrolled settlements in the city and the need for infrastructure growth, which has a negative impact on the environment. This causes the provision of open green space to become a very important problem for the city of Bogor, because it results in a decrease in the quality of the ecological function of the urban environment. Provision of sufficient open green space in the city of Bogor aims to ensure the balance of the city's ecological system and at the same time increase its aesthetic value. The lack of open green open space in the city of Bogor has made the Bogor City Government place a special focus on open green space, along with the development of environmentally friendly infrastructure as an indicator of achieving the goals of the spatial plan (RTRW). A planned development that makes open green space the main design problem will be a relevant response to ongoing issues in the city of Bogor, at least for the next decade. Integration between the need for open green space with the infrastructure growth of the city of Bogor is needed in planning. In addition, the plan must have a significant influence on the growth of Bogor City's green open space and also its infrastructure needs. Some steps that can be taken are maximizing the need for open green space in accordance with the Basic Green Area Coefficient (KDH) and integrating open green space with the building. The integration carried out to respond to the issue of the lack of open green space in the city of Bogor is the stadium in Bogor Pajajaran Sports Complex. As a public infrastructure, the stadium can be accessed by residents for various reasons, so that it can accommodate the social and cultural functions of open green space. This building will occupy an area of ± 80,000 m2 in accordance to the Bogor’s RPJMD for year 2019-2024. Through this development, infrastructure can achieve the goal of adding significant amount of open green space, while achieving various open green spaces’ functions.
