This limitation is the cause of the difficulty of access to obtaining the necessary ground motion information, even though its use is in academia sector and research. It is necessary to prepare a ground motion as a time history of earthquake acceleration in a location that does not have motion information, which can later be used as input for further analysis in the planning of an earthquake resistant building. The soil motion scaling analysis was carried out using the Seismomatch program and Microsoft Excel, both for scaling motion in bedrock and on the surface. The scaling results in the bedrock are then propagated to the surface, with the help of Deepsoil, so that the earthquake acceleration value on the surface is obtained. Then this value will be compared with the acceleration of the earthquake as a result of scaling the ground motion with the target ground surface spectra compiled based on SNI 1726: 2012 and 2019. The acceleration value of the results of wave propagation by inputting parameters and site-specific conditions of Bandung consistently has a smaller value when compared to the results of acceleration on the surface based on the scaling of the ground motion with the target spectra on the surface based on SNI 1726: 2012 and 2019. text
