The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing people to adopt new ways of working. Office employees in various countries are required to work from home (WFH). Several large consulting companies have offered several alternative work models that can be applied in the new normal. One of the most popular alternatives is the hybrid work model. In addition to changes in office functions in the new normal, there are also health issues that must be considered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are various health protocols and other health-related requierements that must be considered when designing buildings in the new normal. Based on these problems, the main design issues are formulated: interaction, health, comfort, and image. The main concept of the Post-Pandemic Google HQ design located at Digital Hub BSD City is “safe and fun collaboration”. Collaboration is fundamental to Google's corporate culture. However, the COVID-19 pandemic poses challenges to the implementation of collaborative activities. The basic concept of safe and fun collaboration solves these challenges by applying innovative technologies to buildings and understanding disease transmission. In addition, Google also emphasizes the importance of having fun at work so that spontaneous encounters can lead to innovation. Therefore, this building is also designed with various functions, shapes, and colors that are playful.
