Summary: | BUDIKDAMBER or fish farming in buckets which has the principle of integrating the fish with vegetable crops or also known as the aquaponic system, generally this peak can be carried out on limited land while aiming to increase the efficiency of nutrient utilization from leftover feed and fish metabolism to become one of the trends in the beginning of this pandemic. Local vegetable food plants, namely genjer, which contain macronutrients, amino acids and vitamins that have the potential to be a source of nutritious food, especially for the household scale and can be cultivated together with tilapia in a bucket. This study aims to determine the effect of tilapia population density on plant height, leaf area, number of leaves, number of flowers and fruit plants, wet weight and dry weight of genjer plants, and determine the form of mathematical modeling that can be used to describe growth in genjer plants under the best treatment in the BUDIKDAMBER system. This research was conducted at the Sekar Tanjung 1 Caringin boarding house, Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency for 2 months (January-February 2021). The research design was carried out in a randomized block design with 7 genjer plants per bucket and 4 treatments and 8 repetitions consisting of treatments A, B, C and D with each treatment in the form of different tilapia population densities of 3, 5, 7 and 9 fish. The results of statistical tests using Friedman Test (? = 0.05) showed that the treatment given did not significantly affect plant height, leaf area, number of leaves, number of flowers and fruit, except for the wet weight and dry weight of genjer plants which were tested with Two-way ANOVA statistical test (?=0.05) showed that the treatment given had a significant effect. The form of modeling that can be used to describe the growth of genjer plants in the best treatment in this system is using Verhulst's logistic equation.
