Summary:Transport Hub Leuwi Panjang is located on Leuwi Panjang, a densely populated area in the southern part of Bandung. Transport Hub Leuwi Panjang which covers a total of 36,176 m2 area, connects 4 different modes of transportation, which is, LRT, Cable Car, City and Interchange city Bus and small public transportations. In addition to its main function as transportation area, other functions that are present in the area are retails, services, offices and parking. The basic concept of the Leuwi Panjang Transport Hub design is to create an area where people can meet, gather and transit in a safe yet comfortable area. The main issue of Leuwi Panjang Transport Hub is the circulation, of users and modes of transportation, structures and public spaces. High mobility of visitor in the area also demands a green open space. The separation of transportation modes at Leuwi Panjang Transport Hub is carried out horizontally and vertically. By Horizontally, the separation use transition spaces, while by the vertically, the separation is carried out by floor separation. Transport Hub Leuwi Panjang is designed to make the building look modern yet reflect the local characteristics of Bandung. Therefore, it is designed using a traditional Sundanese roof and a stilt building, using the main materials of industrial, such as concrete, steel and glass. To take advantages of the wide-span roof of the building, solar panels are installed on the roof to generate electricity for the area.
