Description
Summary:ABSTRACT:

The current measurement which had conducted in Delta Citarum has an objective to evaluate the current dynamics in Estuary seashore and has been using the advanced method of Hydro-Acoustics technique for the data acquisition. The Stationer method was used to measure two of separate locations of seashore that have 12m and 20m water depth. The location separation has purpose to have the temporally current dynamics information at two places that have different distance of shoreline and water depth. As measurement result is a multi-layer current profile, which has processed and visualized into one and two graph dimension. The current visualization at seashore that has 12m water depth had shown the existence of two current profiles: (1) the Sub-layer had shown the

consistent movement to North-North East direction with various number of current-strengths; (2) the top-layer had shown that the current pattern was influencing by tide. Likewise, the current visualization at seashore, which has 20m water depth, had been also shown that tide was still influencing the dynamics current. The general current directions that run to South-North East have various number of strength. Moreover, there was also discovered the existence of current component, which had caused by non-periodic factors.
