There were many seismics surveys that ever did along the carbonate build up structure from X field up to Klamumuk, Irian Jaya Barat. Unfortunately, that seismics survey could not describe hidrocarbons position for sure. The X fields condition is going devaluable, it makes to find another position in that build up structure which still keeping hydrocarbon is considerably needed. Electricitys character of a rock is depend on the fluid that fills the pores. The differences between electricitys characteristic that appears as a resistivity from rocks layering might provide information about subsurfaces, such as lithology or even fluid that fills the pores. Resistivitys method with Schlumbergers electrodes configuration is used to discover diversity of resistivity in a vertical direction. Curve matchings interpretations method is used to models the build up of the Kais formation, and Dar - Zarrouk Parameter is used to detect the positif anomaly which interpreted as hidrocarbon. The result shows that X field has a high porosity and permeability. Hidrocarbons position could detected under the line-08 and line-1235. text
