Pindad is the only company that produce armed weapon in Indonesia, which its products are divided into military and commercial product. The image of PT. Pindad as a company which produce weapon has given a challenge for the commercial product division rather than military product division, so it is important for the commercial product division to be able to increase its productivity by understanding values and perception of every member of the division in form of matched organization culture. <br />

To support the right organization culture, the organization culture audit was conducted to five departments in Industrial Machine and Services Division. First, the audit used qualitative approach to develop the general perspective. Later, the audit continued with quantitative approach using the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI). <br />

Through observation and interviews, the divisions culture was identified to be similar to Hierarchy culture due to its strong commitment of efficiency and control. The OCAI result concluded that the divisions culture is Market Culture, which focuses to achievement. The main focus in developing the next organization culture are issues to lead the organization to be more focus on achievement and also the improvement of creativity, innovation and reducing Hierarchys |
