One potential solution is hydroponic with a combination of nutrient solutions. Rabbit urine liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) contains high enough N, P, K nutrients hence the potential to be combined with AB mix. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of AB mix and rabbit urine LOF as well as husk charcoal and cocopeat media on the growth and production of Tajuk cultivar shallots, and to determine the best combination of nutrients and growing media for shallots cultivation in a floating raft hydroponic system. Shallots were cultivated in a screen house for 68 days using a simple floating raft hydroponic system. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of 7 treatments with 3 replications, namely soil + NPK fertilizer, 50% LOF + 50% AB mix + husk charcoal, 75% LOF + 25% AB mix + husk charcoal, 100% LOF + husk charcoal, 50% LOF + 50% AB mix + cocopeat, 75% LOF + 25% AB mix + cocopeat, and 100% LOF + cocopeat. Growth and yield data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and LSD post-hoc test (? = 0.05). The results showed that the treatment of nutrients combination and media had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, wet weight of plant, wind dry weight of plant, number of bulbs, wind dry weight of bulb, and bulb diameter but did not significantly affect the number of tillers. The best results were shown by the treatment of 50% LOF + 50% AB mix + husk charcoal with an average plant height of 34.87±3.36 cm, number of leaves 29.45±5.24, number of tillers 6.70±0 .94, wet weight of plant 42.35±17.52 g, wind dry weight of plant 15.30±5.72 g, number of bulbs 7.19±2.46, wind dry weight of bulb 1.44±0.62 g, and bulb diameter 1.40±0.29 cm. The results of this study showed that the cultivation of shallots in a floating raft hydroponic system with a combination of AB mix and rabbit urine LOF using husk charcoal media was able to produce better growth and yield of shallots compared to cultivation on soil media with NPK fertilizer. text
