Summary:ABSTRACT: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The augmentation number of population has implicated in the increasing of food needed that people try to fulfill it. Singomerto irrigation area which located in Banjarnegara has a large potency for agriculture and fishery because it has adequate water. It was built in 1982 and planned to irrigate 5.863 Ha area in 7 districts: Sigaluh, Banjarnegara, Pagedongan, Bawang, Purwonegoro, Mandiraja and Purworejo Klampok. The objectives of this present research are to organized the model of water supply because the increasing demand of water as the impact of the transforming of the land use from agriculture to fishery. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The increasing of land use from 218 Ha to 6.081 Ha for agriculture and fishery, has caused increasing of water demand while channel dimension has not changed. It makes some channels cant accommodate the discharge. Improvement of discharge is 2.6 m3/s, and it makes some channels unable to accommodate the requirement discharge (Singomerto main channel and Pucang secondary channel). The Singomerto main channel can only accommodate the discharge 14.4 m3/s that is unsufficient for 16.4 m3/s and the Pucang Channel can only accommodate the discharge 2.6 m3/s that is unsufficient for 2,7 m3/s. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Distribution of irrigation water is carried out by applying groups system where Blimbing channel is flown in group I while Pucang Channel and Siwuluh Channel in groups II. Maximum discharge from this arrangement is 11.8m3/s so that Singomerto main channel can be able to accommodate the discharge.
