The oil production decreasing due to the lack of new exploration could emerge new problem for the political economy. Therefore, new explorations by search new gas /oil-fields and intensify exploration in the existent fields are necessary to increase oil production. The height of oil price recently expected could stimulate more exploration, mainly in the new fields. In this case, oil industrial still become the largest contributor in energy sector because of the increasing in oil-demand. Therefore, oil industrial have to do a research and develop the technology to support their exertion. Here, in the technology development, especially in the main equipment, PT. Trimitra Sejati Pratama functioned as one of the oil-equipment suppliers for the oil companies. PT. Trimitra Sejati Pratama has some lack in human resource quantity and quality, principals support, and financial resources. These challenged conditions had forced the company to improve their performance. Performance measurement and monitoring are very critical in oil-equipment service quality improvement. Performance measurement and benchmarking is a necessary tool for the company that can be used to improve organization performance, creating accountability to the customers and finally it could increase service. Design of Performance Management System based on The Integrated Performance Measurement System (IPMS) approach measured three perspective which is organization results, internal process, and organization resources. IPMS able to translate company s vision into objective strategy for every division or department in operational level, thus the management could monitor and control whether the implemented strategy had reached the company s vision. The effect showed is the company could survive and had the competitive advantage. This final project focused in the design steps of Performance Management System based on The IPMS approach to used at PT. Trimitra Sejati Pratama. The research process step is started by determining the objective of every perspective and then continued by determining the key performance indicators to review the established objectives. The research results a design of Performance Management System based on The IPMS approach that could be implemented in PT. Trimitra Sejati Pratama for organization performance improvement so that grow and developed continuously. text
