INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/60978 Bridge construction in Indonesia is growing rapidly considering that Indonesia is an archipelagic country and the need for mobility is getting higher. The construction of the bridge must be planned as an earthquake-resistant structure considering that the bridge has a connectivity function between regions. Lately, the turning bridge is getting warmer to avoid crossing a train plot. Bridges with this shape have limitations on large and long vehicles. Currently, the design of the bridge that has limited traffic still refers to SNI 1725-2016 and 2833-2016, while the crossing load will not be greater than the load regulated in the regulations. To obtain a more optimal design result, an analysis based on the WIM load and non-linear earthquake analysis was carried out in the hope of optimizing the cross section of the bridge due to vehicle restrictions. This analysis aims to get an idea of how big the effect of limitation of vehicle on the optimization that can be done on the bridge structure while still referring to the minimum reliability requirements set by AASHTO. AASHTO requires a minimum value ? equal to 3.5 for static loads and by decreasing by 1 order the minimum value ? for dynamic loads is around 3.0. If these conditions cannot be met, it is necessary to strengthen the structure or add earthquake damping elements to increase ? value. text |

Bridge construction in Indonesia is growing rapidly considering that Indonesia is an archipelagic country and the need for mobility is getting higher.
