The principle of sustainability is a very important issue in today's business world. The long-term goal of all businesses is to survive and even grow in the midst of rapidly-changing conditions, while maintaining business activities to minimize negative impacts and provide positive impacts on the environment, social life, and all company stakeholders. This study aimed to analyze the strategy of PT. ACE Hardware Indonesia, Tbk (AHI) which is one of the largest home improvement and lifestyle retailers in Indonesia, now is able to survive in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, PT. AHI as a public company with large composition of foreign investors also began to try to implement sustainable business principles through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). This study used primary data through the Focus Group Discussion method to the company's top management, as well as secondary data obtained through literature studies and data from the company. The results showed that PT. AHI is able to survive well during the pandemic, by adhering to ESG principles which are in line with the company's goal to improve its business development now and in the future.
