Summary: | The COVID-19 pandemic has led to half of the world's population being placed on lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19. It has caused severe repercussions for economies across the world. In line with global economic downturn, the domestic economy of Indonesia in Q2 2020 also contracted -5.32% (yoy),it is much lower compared to the first quarter of 2020 which grew by 2.97% (yoy). By limiting the mobility of people, goods and services, it disrupts the supply of raw materials, supporting materials and finished goods.
As a result, business debtors who have debt obligations to creditor banks are certainly constrained. The bank also bears a growing ratio of non-performing loans (NPL) and can affect financial performance healt of banks. This study has objective to analyze and evaluate significant difference of the financial performance health level and stock price of public listed Book IV Bank in Indonesia before Covid-19 pandemic compared to the health level after the covid-19 pandemic arise in Indonesia. The method use are Risk Based Bank Rating (RBBR) and paired T-test. The data used is financial reports of public listed book IV banks from Q4 2018-Q1 2021. The result of the study shows there is significance difference in risk profile which is NPL and LDR, earning factors ehich is ROA and NIM, and stock price. There is no significant difference in capital factor which is CAR. |
