Summary:One of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technique that is effective in maximizing oil recovery is huff and puff steam injection. To predict the oil rate performance of a well from huff and puff steam injection, the Boberg-Lantz method is often used. But this method has weakness which cannot predict production performance in starting period after injection until peak time. This thesis will derive production equation in that period with exponential approach so that the oil production rate can be predicted. This thesis also predict huff and puff steam injection in the X field with the modified Boberg-Lantz method in Fortran language. Based on case study and sensitivity test, it is known that in huff and puff steam injection performance calculation which is simulated with modified Boberg-Lantz method, the most sensitive parameter is water oil ratio (WOR). If the WOR is increased by 0.2, it will result in decrease of oil rate up to 25%.
