Description
Summary:Abstract:

Rare earth elements have been used in production of high technology materials. It caused new development methode of separations base on solvent extraction. However these tehniques are limited in laboratory scale. The new methode that can be used in industries scale is Solvent Impregnated Resin (SIR). Solvent impregnated resin are simply prepared by immobilization of a complexing solvent extraction reagent within the matrix structure of polymer adsorbents by physical contact. In this research, optimation of separation rare earth elements and none rare earth elements with SIR methode have been done. In this research the capacity and stability of SIR were calculated too. The optimum result has been achieved by using a mixture of TBP-D2EHPA 1:3 , pH for extraction was 3.2, flow rate loading rare earth material was 1mL min-1, and concentration of HCl eluent was 1 M. In these situation, rare earth materials and none rare earth materials can be separated well.
