In the ITB Student Dormitory Cooperative, the performance appraisal of employees in the economic division cannot increase the productivity and performance of employees. Performance appraisal currently does not have formal procedures and clear criteria for assessing member performance. So that organizations face problems where many performance programs fail, and members are not responsible. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effectiveness, determine the factors that cause ineffective performance appraisals in the economic division of the ITB Student Dormitory Cooperative, and how to improve it. This study uses a narrative method and relates the stories the researcher heard through interviews and studying current performance appraisal activities. By asking questions about the effectiveness of performance appraisals, understanding and knowing the employee performance appraisal process in the current system. The results of the effectiveness will show what factors influence the current performance appraisal and will show how the effectiveness of the performance appraisal in the ITB Student Dormitory Cooperative is. This study recommends the organization in making improvements that must be made to improve the system as an increase in the effectiveness of the organization's assessment. text |
