Description
Summary:The sharing economy is a growing business concept and has great opportunities. To be successful, sharing economy companies must maintain a balance of participation not only on the demand side but also on the supply side through a business model strategy as an effort to increase the motivation of potential users and providers. In this research, researchers analyze the revenue stream strategy or Monetizing strategy as well as channel strategy, and customer relationships through the company's website (digital platform), which is a crucial aspect of the sharing economy. This is done to find out how the company's strategies and efforts are in responding to the theory of someone's motivation to participate in the sharing economy which can be a reference for existing companies or those who are just starting in the sharing economy. Researchers used secondary data obtained from the company's website and from articles. The results obtained from this study are 1. List of sharing economy companies in Indonesia and internationally which are divided into six sectors (finance, space, transportation, services, food, & goods) but in Indonesia there is no company engaged in the food sector that meets the definition full sharing economy. 2) List of revenue stream model strategies and monetizing strategies of sharing economy companies. it is known from that there is no perfect similarity of every company in each sector in terms of its monetizing strategy but in terms of revenue stream model strategy, it is found that the pattern is that companies charge commission fees to providers and assign transaction fees to users. 3) list (mapping) the company's strategies or efforts based on motivation indicators. It is known that there is no perfect strategy in common. However, the pattern in each sector is known, which means that there are similarities between all companies in the sector in several indicators, and also, there are several indicators that are carried out not only in several sectors but as a whole. This can be the basis for determining the minimum strategy for sharing economy companies in general or in certain sectors specifically.
