Description
Summary:The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the whole globe, including Indonesia. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant influence on several areas, especially education. As a means of limiting the spread of Covid-19 in educational clusters, schooling was compelled to be conducted online. Since March 2020, Indonesia has been conducting online learning. All educational institutions must engage in online teaching and learning activities. SBM ITB, as an educational institution, has also been obliged to perform online teaching and learning activities because the Indonesian Minister of Education issued a learning policy during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, online learning implementation may not always go smoothly. There is an influence on both students and institutions that participate in these online learning activities, one of them is in the mental aspect. Online learning can affect the mental health condition of students. During online learning students are easily stressed, lack of motivation, students become unproductive, there is a sense of anxiety experienced by students during online classes, and online learning also has an impact on students' physical conditions. These things are influenced by the environment and learning atmosphere. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand the problems that occurred. The results of this study prove that online learning affects the mental health condition of students.
