INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/61245 CV. Gunung Batujajar is one of the andesite mining companies that use the blasting method in its mining process. This is due to the high hardness of the rock so it will be more efficient if blasting method is used. However, this blasting method has a negative impact on the surrounding environment, one of which is vibration. Vibrations resulting from blasting can cause disturbance to settlements, cracks in local residents' buildings and landslides on mine slopes. This study aims to evaluate the vibrations resulting from the blast on residential areas and mine slopes. To measure the vibration resulting from the blasting, PPV and PPA values are usually used. The measurement of the value of vibration used a tool in the form of an instantel minimate plus and the measurement of the width of the fracture used a digital caliper. The measurement of the vibration value is carried out around the blasting location and residential areas. Measurement of the level of vibration resulting from blasting against residential areas used PPV values referring to SNI 7571:2010 and determining the level of damage to buildings using the criteria of Damage level of concrete structural components by Sjafei Amri (2006) while the PPA value was used as the value of seismic load in calculating the value of the dynamic slope safety factor with reference to the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources number 1827 K/30/MEM/2018. From the results of the study, it was found that the PPV value felt around Batujajar Timur Village was in the range of 0.32-1.29 mm/second, indicating that the vibration generated against the settlement was still in a safe condition based on second-class buildings with a standard vibration value of 3 mm/second. The width of the fracture formed is in the range of 0.49-1.96 mm and is included in category II lightly damaged (0.2-1.0 mm fracture width) & moderately damaged III (1-2mm fracture width). The PPA value obtained is in the range of 0.02-0.45 g and the smallest dynamic slope safety factor value is 1.479, this indicates that with a high standard of sliding (FK = 1.1) the overall slope is still in a safe condition and the critical PPA value obtained is 0.712 g. text
