Summary: | Currently, the development of business hotels in Indonesia is growing rapidly along
with the increase of business development, especially in the Jakarta area, which is
known as the business city center in Indonesia. With many companies growing in
the area, business hotels have become quite attractive to entrepreneurs for business
activities. The 4-star Business Hotel Project in Slipi is a hotel project designed to
accommodate lodging and other services that can facilitate business activities in the
Jakarta area. This building has a main function as a commercial area that provides
lodging facilities as well as supporting and recreational facilities for business
activities with a total height of 61 meters consisting of 13 floors, a rooftop, and 2
basement floors. This hotel building must be able to have a drainage network that
accommodates rain runoff in the hotel catchment area. The design of this final
project begins with a hydrological analysis to obtain the planned rainfall and flood
discharge using rational method. In designing the drainage network, the designed
and analyzed scopes include vertical pipes, horizontal pipes, guttering, and surface
drains. The design of the vertical pipe uses the concept of the overflow discharge
formula. The design of horizontal pipes, gutters, and surface drains use the concept
of hydraulic analysis, standards, and regulations that apply in Indonesia (Tata Cara
Penyusunan Rencana Induk Sistem Drainase Perkotaan Edisi Tahun 2012,
Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum). Rainwater that falls in the hotel catchment area
will be channeled to two outlets of urban drainage channels located in the exit and
entry areas of the hotel (under the sidewalk of Jalan Letjen S. Parman). In addition,
it is necessary to design the need for clean water supply and tank facilities in the
form of Ground Water Tanks (GWT), Roof Water Tanks (RWT), and pumps as
components of clean water distribution. |
