Oransbari Port will be developed as a port capable of receiving container loads as a secondary feeder port. In this final project will mainly discuss about the design of container wharf structure and the pavement layer in the Container Park Area and Container Freight Station area. The container wharf with deck on pile type of Oransbari Harbor has a total dimension of 463.5 m x 28.5 m with a total of 4 berths of ships which will be dilated into 4 typical structures with the dimensions of each mooring being 112.5 m x 28.5 m. The design vessel used in the design of the wharf structure is obtained from the results of the demand analysis and the hydro-osenographic parameters that affect the wharf structure are obtained from the water resource analysis. With a design vessel of 5180 DWT and environmental conditions in the wharf area, a structure will be designed that can accommodate the design load. The calculation of the design load will be solved by assistance of Microsoft Excel. For the modeling of all structural elements of the wharf deck on pile will be solved by assistance of SAP 2000. In designing the structure of the deck on pile pier, it consists of two main structural parts, namely the upper structure and the lower structure. The two main structural parts will be designed using two different load combinations, namely ASD and LRFD. LRFD loading is used as a reference for structural deflection control planning, reinforcement detailing process, and checking the capacity of structural elements. While ASD loading is used as a reference in geotechnical analysis in the analysis of soil bearing capacity. The design of CPA and CFS pavement layers refers to The Structural Design Of Heavy Duty Pavement For Ports and Other Industries that uses a paving block surface layer. The design load for CPA and CFS pavement layers is based on the calculation of single equivalent wheel load. text |
