This building consists of ten floors and two basements used for inpatient room, polyclinic, and other medical-purposed room. As a vital object in the national capital and flood prone area, it is important to design a drainage system to prevent flood in the hospital building area. As well as drainage system, rainwater management and clean water supply system are required to design so the water needs of the building can be fulfilled without exploiting groundwater in the area. The design process is carried by first collecting and processing secondary data, such as hydrology analysis of the area and surrounding watershed. Besides that, flood water surface is analysed in HEC-RAS application. Subsequently, drainage system for 6.869 m2 catchment in the building area is designed. The drainage systems consist of roof and ground surface drainage system as well as drainage outlet system. Meanwhile, design process of rainwater management and clean water supply systems includes water needs estimation, rainwater reliability check, must-manage water and flood share volume calculation, rainwater storage pool design, clean water tank design, piping, and pump design. According to the design process, drainage system peak flow is 0,358 m3/s, with the outlet point is Saluran PHB Slipi. Roof drainage system consists of roof drain, collector pipe, and gutter on the canopy. Ground surface drainage system consist of concrete channel and steel pipe. The lowest elevation of the drainage system is +7,89 MASL. The lowest elevation of the drainage outlet still is higher than the 100 years flood elevation from Kali Grogol and Banjir Kanal Barat. Consequently, the designed drainage system is not affected by the flood from Kali Grogol and Banjir Kanal Barat. Nevertheless, outlet system operational is design with automatic valve floodgate and portable water pump to anticipate Saluran PHB Slipi failure due to unplanned condition or the discharge exceeds designed discharge. Rainwater management main facility is a water reservoir due to soil incapability to absorb water. The water reservoir is design according to mainstay rain and flood share volume. The water reservoir capacity is 390 m3 which is functioned to hold the water flow temporary before streamed to the city drainage system and fulfilled secondary water needs. All primary water need is supplied from PDAM and stored in the Ground Water Tank. The Ground Water Tank (GWT), which is also functioned as Emergency Tank, capacity is 646 m3. The GWT is design with two days recharge period and capable to fulfill main water need of the hospital without any outside supply for four days.The Roof Water Tank capacity is 36 m3 equal with 20% of the hospital daily water need. Clean water jetting system is designed to pump the clean water from GWT and fill the RWT to the brim in only two hours. This system consists of two pipes, two suction pump, two pressure pump, and two booster pump which are installed parallelly. This is aimed to anticipate failure so that the clean water supply system is not totally unfunctional. text |
