Description
Summary:Good design is a design that can accommodate human activities regardless of individual abilities or limitations. In Indonesia, there are still many cases of disability that are not accommodated by a good facility design, making it uncomfortable and even dangerous for people with disabilities. This design focuses on accommodating users with visual impairment, specifically low vision, by formulating appropriate interior aspects and elements for people with low vision, which can be applied to rehabilitation facilities to help people with low vision at the age of 17-30 years old to be confident about their disability, live independently and work like people with normal eyesight. This research was conducted using a literature study on low vision and interior design guidelines for users with visual impairments, studies of similar facilities abroad that have been successful in facilitating rehabilitation, and interviews with experts in low vision rehabilitation.
