Description
Summary:Green mustard (Brassica juncea) is a vegetable that is in great demand by the people of Indonesia. Efforts that can be made to increase the production of mustard greens are by applying the right fertilizer. The use of inorganic fertilizers has a bad impact in the long term. An alternative that can be done is to combine it with organic, one of which is Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) from rabbit urine. In addition, Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) as a biological agent acts as a growth trigger. This study aims to examine the effect of the combination of NPK fertilizer, rabbit urine POC, and PGPR on the growth and production of green mustard (Brassica juncea). This study used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments (p1: NPK, p2: NPK + POC, p3: NPK + PGPR, and p4: NPK + POC + PGPR) and 5 repetitions. Data analysis used ANOVA with 95% confidence level (p < 0.05) and continued with the Least Significant Difference (BNT) test. The results showed that the combination of NPK + POC + PGPR had a significant effect on the vegetative growth of mustard greens starting from plant height, leaf area, and wet weight when compared to the application of NPK fertilizer alone or the combination of NPK with PGPR. However, all combination treatments did not show a significant effect on the number of mustard greens. The results of the study by giving the combination of NPK + POC + PGPR gave the highest value at plant height of 20.12 cm; the number of leaves as much as 6 pieces; leaf area of 50.85 cm2; and canopy wet weight of 16.91 grams.
