INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/61606 Mixed Use Building at Teknopolis Gedebage Bandung is a building that combines 3 types of building functions, namely shopping centers, hotels, and offices. This building consists of 3 basement floors, a podium, an office tower, and a hotel tower. This final project has a goal to design a foundation system that can bear the load of the structure and to design a retaining wall system that can maintain security during basement excavation work. The excavation for the case study of this project is planned to be 14 meters deep supported by a diaphragm wall system with selected basement slab reinforcement. The analysis was carried out using the finite element method with the help of a program based on the finite element method with the Hardening Soil model. The diaphragm wall thickness used is 1.5 meters with a penetration depth of 55 meters. The selected basement slabs are at an elevation of 0 meters and -7.65 meters. In this project, a raft foundation with drilled piles is used where a rigid raft foundation will distribute the load from the superstructure to the drill pile evenly. All axial and lateral forces will be resisted by the drill pile foundation. The axial bearing capacity is calculated based on the carrying capacity of single piles and pile groups, while the lateral uses the P-Y curve method which is suitable for the soil type in the case study of this project. Geotechnical design refers to SNI: 8460-2017 concerning Geotechnical Design Requirements and the design of foundation reinforcement and diaphragm walls refers to SNI: 2847-2013 concerning Procedures for Planning Concrete Structures for Buildings with soil types in this project case study. The design results obtained from this project are technical drawings for three types of raft foundations, two types of drill pile foundations, retaining walls, and wells used in the dewatering system. text
