Coca Cola Amatil has been acquired by Coca Cola European Partners, the decision was made on October 2020 and the acquisition has been done on April 2021. This is considered a cross border Merger & Acquisition as Coca Cola Amatil is based in Australia with Indonesia being one of its operating country, while Coca Cola European Partners is mainly based in the United Kingdom. A Merger & Acquisition itself has its challenges, let alone it being cross border. The challenges comprise of culture difference, synergy, proper strategy, forming an integration team and adaptation. This research will analyze the risk that comes from this cross-border Merger & Acquisition and try to manage it. This research will also use a qualitative tool called Case Survey Method to analyze using past Merger & Acquisition that have already occurred. An in-depth interview is also conducted to strengthen this research, however, considering this process is still in the works, there are many things that are kept confidential. A risk management framework is used to identify, analyze and respond to the potential risk.
