This office building consisted two buildings, those are building A as an office and building B as a residence. This diocese office built on a 2500 sqm land area and the building area itself is 12.130 sqm. The goal of this final project is designed a plumbing system for clean water, waste water, and fire fighting of Bandung Diocese Office Building. The design itself carried out in various stages, those are preparation, data collection, data processing, and finalization. The basics used in this design are the plumbing book by Soufyan and Morimura, Lecture Dictation IL3106, Indonesian National Standards, NFPA, and other journals related to plumbing. The clean water system in this building used roof tank system. This clean water also divided into two types those are clean water from Regional Drinking Water Company and recycle water from STP. The total clean water needed are 109.04 m3/hour and recycle water are 28.25 m3/hour. The waste water system in this building used gravity system and the waste water itself is divided into two, those are used water and dirty water. Used water came from all plumbing equipment except toilets and urinals. This used water are processed on site and then used as flushing water or recycle water. Meanwhile, dirty water only came from toilets and urinals then treated by septic tanks and waste water treatment plant city. The fire fighting system in this office buildings used two systems those are sprinkler system and the hydrant system. In this diocese’s office there are total of 554 sprinkler heads and 17 fire hydrants. text |
