Summary: | One of the public health strategies to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic is the
movement restriction strategy. DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has implemented
several movement restriction strategies. The effectiveness of the policy implications of
the mobility strategy can be seen based on the mobility that occured during the
strategy period. Big data has the potential to describe the mobility that happens in
society, the processed big data from Google and Apple is open to the public, and it
can be an opportunity to see the mobility, then there is also an approach with the
Twitter data. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of identifying the
impact of movement restriction policies due to the COVID-19 pandemic on urban
mobility in DKI Jakarta through the depiction of Google, Apple, and Twitter social
media data.. This study use the descriptive and correlation method with the
quantitative approach. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the
implementation of the movement restriction policy in each strategy causes changes in
mobility by the objectives of the strategy, but some visible changes in mobility caused
by the first positive case, the peak of daily addition COVID-19 case, and long holidays.
Thus, the purpose of each restriction for the movement has been achieved, but there
are other causes can change the urban mobility. |
