Description
Summary:The project on a 10-floor middle-class hotel recited in this report is built by PT. Alkonusa Teknik Inti as the main plumbing contractor. The design of the plumbing system includes clean water, wastewater, vent, rainwater, and fire extinguisher, with a calculation of tank capacity and pipes' diameters, and also a draft budget following the standards in SNI 8153:2015 about Plumbing System. The engineering is done based on secondary data collected from the contractor with consideration of the hotel management's request. Clean water used in this building is sourced by PDAM Jakarta with a capacity of 68 meters cubic per day. Furthermore, there's a water recycling system that combines treated wastewater with rainwater resulting in usable water with a capacity of 32 meters cubic per day. The clean water storage system utilizes a groundwater tank and a roof tank which available on the basement and the rooftop. Wastewater generated by the building goes straight to the Sewage Treatment Plant and Bio Septic Tank before disposed to a riol pipe. The vent system goes straight off the top of the building. Rainwater travels from the catchment area gravity-wise through a pipe leading to the recycle water tank. The fire extinguishing system is a combination of sprinkler and hydrant systems. For supporting the green building concept, the plumbing design is using recycle water to reduce the water usage. These systems are set forth in the form of a report, an engineered design, and a budget draft.
