Description
Summary:Based on the mine planning BH2014BPv2, it is estimated that an opening hole will be formed that can accommodate approximately 807,773,048 m3 of water with a height of overflow is 260 mRL. The ability of void to accommodate water and their role in water management makes void one of the important focuses in post-mining planning. Therefore, it is necessary to know the prediction of the time of filling void in order to formulate the right strategy during post-mining activities. In this study, the calculation of the length of time for filling void after mining activities is completed in 2027 will be carried out until it reaches the runoff point at an altitude of 260 mRL with several scenarios based on rainfall data and evaporation data around the mining area. The data used in this study are secondary data derived from similar previous studies. Data in the form of monthly rainfall analyzed the characteristic of rainfall and rainfall patterns. Furthermore, the rainfall data will be carried out in a Monte Carlo simulation to be used as a calculation of the duration of filling the void. There are 3 results of filling scenarios which result in the length of time for ranging from 27,9-29.16 years after mining activities end.
