The projected percentage of waste that enters the Temesi TPA is 61.02% (October 2020). The existing condition of waste management at TPA Temesi is a waste processing facility named Integrated Waste Processing Facility (FPST) with a processing capacity of 27.47 tons/day. From this, there will be the addition of new facilities at the Temesi TPA, namely the Temesi TPA Recycling Center (PDU), so that the amount of waste managed is increased, to reduce the acceleration of the Temesi TPA landfill closure and increase the life of the landfill. After selecting the PDU design, the capacity of the PDU to be designed is 50 tons/day with a solid waste management system for the selected service management scenario with a moderate system. For sorting the source system, the moderate system was chosen. Then, for the processing process, the waste sorting at the PDU uses a semi-mechanical system, with a selected organic processing system using Black Soldier Fly, and for processing inorganic waste the first alternative, namely Compact Paper and metal selling, Making plastic pellets, compacting plastic waste. sell, waste incineration is not sold. The area needed to build the PDU is 3112 m2 of the total available land, which is 3236 m2. The total development budget (CAPEX) needed to build the PDU at the Temesi TPA is Rp. 8,933,102.00. With a total PDU building area of 3236 m2. Thus, the cost of building the Temesi TPA PDU is Rp 2,509,580.00/m2.
