Even though there are effective invasive's methods on delivering medication to CNS through BBB, the problem is those processes still cause discomfort and become traumatic experience for patient. Nose-to-brain delivery is a new innovation to solve these issues. This delivery system doesn't need the invasive process, and could bypassing blood-brain barrier directly. On this literature's study, writer is reviewing nanocarriage strategies that are being used on central nervous system's diseases, such as depression, Alzheimer’s, epilepsy, and glioblastoma. The research was conducted by reviewing multiple papers related on this issue, based on inclusion and exclusion criterias. There were 30 papers chosen as references on this study. The conclusion of this study is finding that the important strategy on creating intranasal formulation to brain is mucoadsivity. Mucoadsivity is important to make sure the drug would have long retention's time on nasal cavity and preventing immediate mucociliary's clearance. There is key difference between formulation strategy on glioblastoma and general CNS's formulation which needs ligands or active compounds with specific mechanisms on tumor cells to prevent anti cancer's medication attacking healthy cells. text |

The blood-brain barrier (BBB) still being the major challenge on central nervous system's (CNS)
medication due to it's characteristic that prevent the exchange of molecules between the blood
and the CNS. Even though there are effective invasive's methods on delivering medication to CNS
