Description
Summary:The urbanization process will challenge cities in various aspects ranging from demographic, economic, environmental, socio-spatial, to institutional aspects (UNHabitat, 2009; Kustiwan and Ladimananda, 2012). Depok City, as a city that plays a major role in residential activities for KSN Jabodetabek -Punjur, must ensure that it has adequate residential land carrying capac ity (Residential LCC) in the midst of the urban dynamics to maintain sustainable developments. The study of the relationship between urban dynamics and Residential LCC of Depok City was carried out comprehensively based on four subsystems of urban dynamics, namely urban construction (UC), social economy (SE), industrial development (ID), and urban ecology (UE). Firstly, using the entropy method, the weighting for each subsystems were calculated. Secondly, the multi-objective linear summation method was used to analyze Residential LCC value of Depok City in 2015-2019. Finally, the spatial dependence and spatial distribution of Residential LCC in Depok City was carried out using the spatial autocorrelation and spatio-temporal method. The conclusion of the stud y shows that the ID subsystem is the most influential subsystem in determining Residential LCC value of the Depok City. The study also concluded that Residential LCC of Depok City tends to decrease in 2015 - 2019. Spatially, Residential LCC of Depok City has a significant positive spatial autocorrelation in 2015 and 2019 with a tendency for high values in the suburbs, especially in the Eastern region.
