Summary: | Open space is one of the important aspects in city planning, open space is also
used as a forum for people to interact such as sports, play, and socialize. Rukun Warga
(RW) 08 Semper Barat Village is an area with a high population density, but there is
no open space available as one of the space requirements in the area, coupled with
the covid-19 pandemic which requires the community to implement health protocols.
The purpose of this research and design is to produce a design direction in the form
of a Open Space area by implementing health protocols in accordance with applicable
regulations. The design will pay attention to the characteristics, potentials and
environmental problems as well as the design principles in providing open space
facilities in the form of RW Parks. The research method used is the fragmental method
and descriptive data processing and content analysis. Data was collected by means of
literature study, observation, and limited interviews with related stakeholders. From
the results of the survey and analysis that has been carried out, it results in the design
of the RW 08 Open Space in Semper Barat Village with a health protocol with the
vision of "The New Normal Opens Space with Healthy & Integrating Area" during the
covid-19 pandemic. The RW park which is designed later will have integration and
health values as a 'new normal' green open space during the covid-19 pandemic. |
