Abstract: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Angkak rice has been used traditionally to increase the thrombocyte at thrombocytopenia cases. Hematology Analyzer is an instrument which can be used to count a thrombocyte concentration. In this research, Hematology Analyzer is used to count thrombocyte concentration in mice blood which administered with infus of Angkak rice and yellow metabolite of Monascus purpureus. The infus was made by extraction of Angkak rice in hot aquadest. Yellow metabolite of Monascus purpureus is isolated by continuous extraction used Soxhlet device. The measurement of thrombocyte concentration in mice is carried by Hematology Analyzer with Micro Pipette Adapter Sample Analyzing method. The thrombocyte concentration of mice administered with Angkak rice infus at doses 1.3 gram/kilogram mice weight and yellow metabolite suspension of Monascus purpureus at doses 6.6 miligram/kilogram mice weight increased significantly (p<0.05) with each value 123x10 9 /L and 94x10 9 /L, while the control is not significant (31x10 9 /L). The increasing value of thrombocyte concentration per group from the starting point which administered with Angkak rice infus and yellow metabolite suspension of Monascus purpureus is 34.6% and 23% that means significantly different than control (8.3%). Infus of Angkak rice at doses 1.3 gram/kilogram mice weight and yellow metabolite suspension of Monascus purpureus at doses 6.6 miligram/kilogram mice weight can increased the concentration of thrombocyte in mice blood significantly (p<0.05) after 7 days administered orally. Hematology Analyzer can be used to observe the thrombocyteincreasing effect of angkak rice and yellow metabolite of Monascus purpureus in mice. <br />
