Drugs used for headache and vertigo therapy is able to suppress the pain but its not able to fully recover the patient. Based on the WHO report, Acupuncture: Review and Analysis of Reports on Controlled Clinical Trials, benefit of acupuncture has been showed for headache. In the case of vertigo further research should be done. The aim of this study are to find out benefit of “GI”acupuncture for headache and vertigo. This study was a qualitative concurrent observational study at Bumi Medika Ganesha ITB and Sukamenak Kopo “GI”Acupuncture clinic, conducted from January until May 2013 through interviews. Evaluation analized based on comparing the pain scores for headache and dizziness score for vertigo for each therapy. Scoring was used adopted from Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) dan Visual Vertigo Analogue Scale (VVAS). The results showed that there was a significant difference (p<0,05) between the number of acupuncture therapy and the decrease pain score in general headache, primary headache (migraine, tension, and cluster), and secondary headache. In the case of vertigo there are also significant difference (p<0,05) between the number of acupuncture therapy and the decrease in vertigo dizziness score. Based on results it can be concluded that "GI" acupuncture therapy has benefits as complementary therapy in decrease pain score on headache patients and decrease dizziness score on vertigo patients and also has benefits an alternative therapy. text
