Justika is currently developing a new application for users. Before the application is launched, it is necessary to evaluate the target user first to ensure that the application can be used easily by users. This research was conducted to determine the usability of the Justika’s application before the application was launched. Usability evaluation is carried out on the main features of the application using the application prototype. Evaluation is conducted by measuring participant’s performance with three parameters of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. In addition, retrospective think aloud (RTA) was also used in this evaluation. The evaluation was conducted on eight people who were not Justika’s users. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the Justika’s application prototype has been effective because the task completion rate is 100%. However, for further consultation orders, it is still not efficient because its lostness score is more than 0.5. Then, the SUS score with an average value of 71.88 indicates that the participants are quite satisfied with the prototype. Proposed improvements are designed for the problems identified in the RTA session using a design thinking framework. This study provides ten suggestions to improve the usability of the Justika’s application. text
