Summary: | The impact of the increasingly dense occupancy rate and the increasing temperature of the
tropical climate make life uncomfortable and must be addressed immediately by, among other
things, implementing green housing. This study aims to identify the community's willingness to
pay preference for green home concepts so that green homes are increasingly in demand by
the community. The analysis of this study uses comparative analysis based on the distribution
and average of the results of respondents' answers to the questionnaire given.
Data collection was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires twice online using a
non-random sampling technique with a total of 341 respondents in the first questionnaire with
a stated preference mechanism and followed by a second questionnaire with a total of 42 expert
practitioners with a revealed preference mechanism from the results of the questionnaire. first.
The results showed that the most significant green building category based on preference was
Energy Efficiency and Conservation with the most influential variable being heat reduction
with the highest level of willingness to pay with a minimum average of 4.7%. The variables
that influence the second willingness to pay are Land Use, the third is Material Resources and
Recycling, the fourth is Health and Comfort in the Home, the fifth is Building Environmental
Management, and the last is Water Conservation. |
